12 VCE VM – Escape Room Team Challenge.
On Thursday 5 June the Year 12 VCE VM students went on an excursion to The Great Escape in Bendigo, to participate in an escape room challenge, as a part of their Work Related Skills Unit 3 studies.
The basis of the escape room challenge was for the students to work as a team to solve all the clues for their particular room, and successfully exit the room within the one hour time limit. Area of study 3 for WRS is ‘Communication and Collaboration’, so participating in an escape room challenge – as a TEAM – was a great activity in which the students could participate. All three teams performed really well – managing to escape within the allotted time period, successfully, and displaying sound communication and teamwork skills whilst doing so. The students now need to draw on their experiences within the escape room challenge to respond to their WRS Assessment Task 3 – Team Challenge Reflection.
