Outdoor Environmental Studies Wrap Up

Students studying VCE Outdoor Environmental Studies and Year 10 Outdoor Recreation have had a cracking start to the year. Along with their classroom studies, they have enhanced their skill and knowledge in numerous environments including one artificial.

Unit 3/4 students have visited Sovereign Hill and Portsea to enhance their understanding of how historical relationships with the natural environment have changed over time, adding valuable data into their log books.

Year 10 Students visited an indoor rock climbing centre: Gravity Worxs, and the Outdoor Recreation students paddled on the Yarra.

All of the Year 10 OES and OR students have undertaken the first steps to preparing for their first overnight adventure on the Great Ocean Walk, practicing navigation, pitching tents and camp cooking during classroom lessons.
